Cumin, Coriander and Fennel, also known as the CCF tea is a traditional blend of spices that is good for all constitutions. CCF naturally reduces gas and bloating, beneficial for digestion and is detoxifying.
In ayurvedic perspective, CCF tea burns up excess moisture. The rejuvenating blend warms up the circulation and clears out water retention while also cleanses the urinary tract and reduces water weight. CCF tea boosts metabolism and fires digestion while also reducing agitation and inflammation. It restores a calm clarity and spaciousness to a tense mind.
Use ¼ teaspoon of coriander seed, ¼ teaspoon of cumin seeds, and ¼ teaspoon of fennel seeds. Put them in a pot with 1½ cups of water. Let it boil in a covered pot then turn to low and simmer for 10-20 minutes or until tea is golden in color and seeds start to sink. Strain and drink warm before or after meals. Make a fresh cup daily.
